Oklahoma Governor bought & sold wont legalize medical cannabis.”No man can Serv 2 Masters” said Chad Moody

Chad Moody questions (rhetorically) as to why Oklahoma state legislators & Governor Mary Fallin tend to ignore majority of Oklahomans who wants legal medical marijuana. He said the reason is NOT due to ignorance, but that Governor Fallin & the state legislatures have been bought & sold. He added, “No man can serve 2 masters”.

Chad Mood, a practicing criminal defense attorney known as the marijuana lawyer,  is also a republican candidate running for Governor of Oklahoma to beat out incumbent republican Mary Fallin. Primary election is June 24, 2014.

Police officers commit felony perjury everyday 2 sustain marijuana cases, says Chad Moody

The worst thing that medical cannabis prohibition has done in Oklahoma (and drug war at large) was thoroughly corrupted our law enforcement & criminal justice system.

Moody mentioned that: everyday at that courthouse he sees police officers committing felony perjury to sustain misdemeanor marijuana cases. Massive amount of money is involved that police are motivated to lie & the DEA policy is to lie to make the searches good. This has even bled over into the courts where irrational reasoning gets set forth in opinions. About 2 or 3 months ago Oklahoma finally adopted US vs Leon which basically means that if an officer serves a bad warrant in good faith, then his good faith cures that bad warrant. So all they have to do if they want into your home is that 1 officer can swear out a totally false affidavit knowing it to be false & that officer can acquire warrant from a judge & hands that warrant over to another cop who did not know that the affidavit was false. The drug war has gutted us of our freedoms. Now we have militarization of the police: cops no longer serve warrants by politely knocking on the door & they but the door down. To put a stop to this corruption, we must legalize cannabis.

Oklahomans fight against Cannabis Prohibition. Time to start JURY NULLIFICATION

Circulating Petitions to amend laws & challenging political seats are not the only way to fight in this marijuana movement, explains Chad Moody. According to Moody, an effective way to fight back is thru JURY NULLIFICATION. He said that he was informed that the marijuana movement in Colorado began to gain steam when juries began nullifying these marijuana cases.

Some people don’t know about the doctrine of Jury Nullification, as its not talked about in the court rooms anymore, said Moody. He further explained that at the time the US Constitution was drafted, jury nullification was “common place”. The idea behind jury nullification is that the jury can get to disagree with the King’s BAD LAW & to refuse to enforce it REGARDLESS of the evidence, Moody added. “A single juror can keep a bad law from harming people”, he said. He stressed that more people who are against cannabis prohibition need to get on these juries and to STOP AVOIDING jury duty. He said to consider it an opportunity to help vindicate somebody’s rights. His closing statement on Jury Nullification was: “It is your right as a juror to refuse to convict people of an immoral & unjust law. And if there ever was a law that was immortal & unjust, it is cannabis prohibition. God gave us what no government should take away”.

Oklahoma GOP senate candidate – Barney Taylor says now is not the time for Oklahoma to outlaw affirmative action. He 100% guarantees lawsuits to follow.

Barney Scott Taylor, a GOP state senate candidate 100% guarantees that if Oklahoma outlaws affirmative action, it will be sued. He said now is not the time for Oklahoma to do away with affirmative action. He brings up the NAACP & ACLU. Taylor says we (Oklahoma) don’t need that. As Taylor considers himself a pragmatist, he pointed out that a pending affirmative action case is before the supreme court (Abigail Fisher vs. University of Texas); & that while he could not answer the question if affirmative action is working because he could not get past the pragmatic part of it. He feels that the whole affirmative action thing could be shot down by the supreme court before the people of Oklahoma can even vote on it.

His view was that it didn’t make any sense for Oklahoma to come up with its own law, while the supreme court case has similar matter still pending. He said that Oklahoma should of waited to see how the supreme court rules on it.

There is a proposed eradication of affirmation action from Oklahoma law that will on voting ballot in the general election – November 2012. It was not until later on that I had learned that a black republican named T.W. Shannon was the 1 who presented this anti-affirmative action initiative.

Barney Taylor is running for Oklahoma state senate district 9, which covers Muskogee & Wagoner county. The election is November 2012.

His opponent, Earl Garrison, a democrat is an incumbent. Garrison was not present at this forum. It was announced that Garrison could not be present due to prior engagement to attend a hall of fame induction of his friend.

This interview was videoed at the Armory center in Tahlequah, Oklahoma on October 9, 2012 after a political forum sponsored by Tahlequah chamber of commerce.
