Okla voter charge Larry Boggs as a Lying Radical Right-wing Republican for red-herring on gun rights

Pittsburg county voter expressed GOP senate candidate Larry Boggs angered him because he felt Boggs lied about Obama’s would abolish 2nd amendment rights if relected. And that Boggs tried to make a connection between the 2. This voter said that Obama does not have the power to abolish the 2nd amendment. He added that Mr. Boggs was a “radical right wing republican” doing a red herring.

When asked if he would vote for Boggs, needless to say he replied no. The lady sitting next to him responded that they would also be voting for Obama.

Larry Boggs is the republican nominee seeking election to the Oklahoma Senate District 7 that is being vacated by Richard C. Lerblance (democrat). His opponent is J. Paul Lane, the democratic nominee. Election is November 6, 2012.

This political candidate forum sponsored by Mcalester News, in Mcalester, Oklahoma. This event was held on Oct 16, 2012 at 6pm at the Kiamichi Center in Mcalester. Approximately 200 people attended.

Oklahoma GOP senate candidate – Barney Taylor says now is not the time for Oklahoma to outlaw affirmative action. He 100% guarantees lawsuits to follow.

Barney Scott Taylor, a GOP state senate candidate 100% guarantees that if Oklahoma outlaws affirmative action, it will be sued. He said now is not the time for Oklahoma to do away with affirmative action. He brings up the NAACP & ACLU. Taylor says we (Oklahoma) don’t need that. As Taylor considers himself a pragmatist, he pointed out that a pending affirmative action case is before the supreme court (Abigail Fisher vs. University of Texas); & that while he could not answer the question if affirmative action is working because he could not get past the pragmatic part of it. He feels that the whole affirmative action thing could be shot down by the supreme court before the people of Oklahoma can even vote on it.

His view was that it didn’t make any sense for Oklahoma to come up with its own law, while the supreme court case has similar matter still pending. He said that Oklahoma should of waited to see how the supreme court rules on it.

There is a proposed eradication of affirmation action from Oklahoma law that will on voting ballot in the general election – November 2012. It was not until later on that I had learned that a black republican named T.W. Shannon was the 1 who presented this anti-affirmative action initiative.

Barney Taylor is running for Oklahoma state senate district 9, which covers Muskogee & Wagoner county. The election is November 2012.

His opponent, Earl Garrison, a democrat is an incumbent. Garrison was not present at this forum. It was announced that Garrison could not be present due to prior engagement to attend a hall of fame induction of his friend.

This interview was videoed at the Armory center in Tahlequah, Oklahoma on October 9, 2012 after a political forum sponsored by Tahlequah chamber of commerce.

Russell Turner a republican running for state representative is anti”affirmative action candidate. There is a proposed abolishing of affirmation action from Oklahoma law that will be on voting ballot in the general election – November 2012. Turner response was that he wants to do away w/affirmative action & that it was no longer needed because he felt it causes division between “our” people.

Turner was also a bit evasive to specific question I asked regarding Hate crime charges of the 2 gunmen who went into Tulsa’s black community killing black citizens on Good Friday. I asked Turner if he thought the 2 men should had been charged w/a hate crime (which the DA was reluctant to charged them with from the onset until Jesse Jackson arrived Tulsa). Turner’s response tended to generalize by saying that he think all crimes are hate crimes. It was difficult for me to get him to answer the question directly.

His opponent, William Fourkiller – a democrat, was interviewed on Affirmative Action law repeal. Fourkiller told me that he believes in the affirmative action law whole heatedly, and said that as a minority himself, he feels that we need that opportunity to not be discriminated against in employment, contracts, etc.. FourKiller added that affirmative law is working as it was intended to work & that there was no reverse discrimination as certain others claimed it was. He did mention that proposed abolishing of affirmative action in Oklahoma, was a political move by a state house member who was seeking to be promoted to speaker of the house. It was not until few days ago that I had learned that a black republican named T.W. Shannon was the 1 who presented this anti-affirmative action initiative. FourKiller said that he was OSU to explain this affirmative action law that is threatened to be abolished by the republican held House of the Oklahoma state legislature. He said that he explained to the NAACP OSU chapter that the Affirmative Action question on the 2012 ballot also affects women & that young women especially need pay attention to this issue as it affects their gender as well. The affirmation law question on the ballot will be SQ (State Question) 759 & that if voters want to keep that law then VOTE NO – which would be a NO VOTE on its removal from Oklahoma law books.

FourKiller currently is a state representative for house district 86 in Oklahoma. District 86 covers northeast Cherokee county, southern Delaware county and all of Adair county.

Walmart employee for GOP Senate says folks w/tattoos & mohawks are UNEMPLOYABLE – Oklahoma

The GOP – Barney Taylor, a Walmart employee seeking election to State senate maintains that folks going to Walmart w/tattoos & mohawks are not employable

At political forum – the question to Oklahoma GOP state senate candidate (also Walmart employee) Barney Taylor: “Do you think its possible to be pro-life & deprive people of healthcare”.   Taylor responded that folks (coming in Muskogee Walmart where he works) covered in tattoos & green spiked mohawks,  are unemployable; and regarding their need for healthcare, he added “Why should we have to pay for you”.    This was videoed at the Armory center in Tahlequah, Oklahoma on October 9, 2012 at a candidate political forum sponsored by Tahlequah chamber of commerce. After the political forum in Tahlequah Oklahoma I asked Barney Taylor about his remarks at this forum about folks in Walmart w/tattoos & mohawks not being employable.   The context in which it was said led me to believe that Walmart did not hire job applicants w/tattoos & mohawk hairdos  or that at least it was his firm view of such people.   So I asked for more details.  He still maintained that such individuals are unemployable.  This interview was videoed at the Armory center in Tahlequah, Oklahoma on October 9, 2012 after a political forum sponsored by Tahlequah chamber of commerce.
